I scream we all scream for .... Target

Screaming for Target and patiently awaiting their new Altuzarra For Target Line. I have liked most of the designer lines from Target but I have to be honest the up and coming Altuzarra line is to die for. I clearly for see dropping over $100 or more in Target for almost everything in this line. Which for me I usually only like one or two items in most of the designer lines and am currently trying to track down some items from a few past lines.

The Altuzarra line is perfect for date night, work swag (shouts to my pinterest board) or just looking uber sexy for the Fall. The line reminds me of Femme Fatale, I mean it is absolutely hawt!

Altuzarra hits your local Targets starting September 14th. That's two weeks, get your duckets in order to pick up literally every item from this line.

A Little AARF Fun

Always excited to share with you all my community and charity endeavors, which is a lot. I truly believe in giving back and good karma. Recently this year I had the opportunity to volunteer for a wonderful organization by the name of AARF (Animal Allies Rescue Foundation).  AARF rescues animals all over the state, provides them a second chance at having a wonderful life! Even one of my babies is an AARFie meet Melody ( dog in black) she is new to the fam and is having a wonderful time with me and Lee lee short for Leah the other queen of the castle.   However this week was their 2nd annual Summer Soiree hosted by Chef Expressions. Although I was super bummed that my gorgeous summer frock did not arrive :( (More on this in another post) I was still able to pull off a fairly easy look at scored tons of compliments. My new H&M dress that I posted a few posts ago about, mixed with my leopard print heels and black bauble necklace and a slicked back low ponytail! It worked and I felt uber sexy which in the end is the point right.  The boyfriend also pictured (in blue) rocked a few H&M pieces as well. AARF was able to raise a good amount of money and we hope to raise even more! Caribbean themed, the night included amazing food by Chef Expressions, a rum station (hello, this was amazing) a silent auction, performers and a steel band performance! It was a great night for a good cause. If you are ever so inclined to support an animal cause please go to the AARF website -----> here

OOTD

A quick post about todays OOTD. Old Navy Pants great for work Pixie Pants for $34.99 and a Floral top from Forever 21 $14.99 and some thrifted poshmark shoes didn't like them at first because the point is on the extreme Wizard of Oz Point, but they grew on me (seriously) As always you can get some really really good deals on poshmark and can haggle a little for a price that suits you plus $4.99 for shipping.

Happy Monday!!!

T-Shirts!!

For the love of T-shirts, they are casual and of course you can dress them up and keep it flowing for work, date night or an event. As of late I have seen some of the coolest t-shirts around. Recently I made a trip to Old Navy and low and behold they had one of my favorite style icon's on a T. Miss Audrey Hepburn as apart of their vintage t-shirt collection. They also have one featuring Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. Right now the vintage collection is on sale for $14.99

This shirts can be easily jazzed up with a statement necklace, some bling and pair it with a midi skirt, or a pencil skirt or some denim. Below are some links to some of my other favorite t-shirts. One I am dying to get my hands on is "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" by The Social Department, currently being sold on FAB they only have the small but fingers crossed they get the other sizes in. However you can always go to The Social Department for $25

What Statement are you making?

Statement necklaces are clearly the newest trend and look like they are here to stay. They jazz up any outfit from casual to glam in a hot second.  There are soo many places that have gorgeous jewels and baubles, including (wait for it).......... Walmart. Yes I said Walmart. I rarely go, because really I am not a fan of the Walmart scene. However, peep out some of the ones I have found and a few close ups of the ones I brought home with me! These are def. great for a fashionista on a budget. All the styles are only $10.00. Can't beat that!

Just picked these two beauties up!

Boulevard of Chic, Fashion Truck Rally

I had the great opportunity to participate in the summer version of the Boulevard of Chic, Fashion Truck Rally. Did you even know there was such a thing called a fashion truck. Well to give you a brief description. Think of a food truck, but instead of pedaling sweet delicious food, its packed with your favorite fashion finds or accessories!

Today's event took place in the open lot of Rash Field in downtown Baltimore (Can that view get any better)

Tons of local designers, bloggers, fashion trucks and local retailers. So who were my favorites( and in no particular order) Dreams By Danielle  who has some amazing pieces, beautiful flawy midi skirts, vibrant colors and patterns and guess what she makes it all her self. She is a self taught seamstress (say what...)

Next up on the list is Hannah Monet. Out of everyone she definitely had the best business card. Presentation is everything dolls. Founders Hannah Sullivan and Kiara Monet host their items solely online. Check out there site HannahMonet. Unfortunately, my photo storage was filled so I wasn't able to get any good pictures of their booth. However, this picture is of my favorite outfit which was also featured on the news segment promoting the event!!

Last clothing stop on my list was Flawless Damsels! Yours truly got to model a beautiful summer flock by these ladies which just screamed an evening out, date night or even a Sunday brunch with the girls. Flawless Damsels a Baltimore local shop on E. Monument Street has clothing for all sizes, figures and frames, which is a plus since I was one of the few curvy girls participating in the fashion show portion. Brightly colored pieces, all occasion attire mixed in with some great personalities, I promise you won't leave empty handed. Even there tag line is cute " Where Damsels become Flawless"  Yes dolls, I woke up like this!

To wrap up my day I even stopped over at Side Dish, no not a food truck but a mobile accessory truck. These ladies had every type of accessory you need! The cutest little set up and best of all it's mobile.  I picked up some bracelets and some earrings, which were all reasonably priced. Much cheaper then some of their online counter parts. Stay tuned to see some of the purchases in a few outfit pictures!

Boulevard of Chic is a great event and one not to miss for the future. Tons to pick from for all styles, mostly a wide selection of sizes, a great atmosphere and great energy of course mixed in with some fierce models.  Looking forward to their next rally. Baltimore Fashion at it's finest!

Peep my most recent purchases from H&M and Forever 21. I'll be sharing soon some purchases from Poshmark, Instagram (yes fellow bloggers if you have a shop I am all on like cake!) and a few other glorious retailers. Also stay tuned for a DIY post as I attempt the No-Sew Tulle Skirt!!!
